Fall Encampment
This fall we will be having a great encampment, Instead of having a staff guess and try to make stations that everyone will enjoy, we are asking that every troop, cub pack, and venture crew come up with an idea and put together a station. We ask that you let us know your idea, if troops and cub packs would like to work alongside a troop that is fine, just let us know just send us an e-mail at fallencampment08@northstardistrict.org and let us know your ideas, we hope that every PLC and all the boys will get involved to give ideas so that we know that everyone will enjoy themselves.

Are you going to summer camp? North Star highly encourages you to go for many reasons. To have fun, to hang out with friends, to earn merit badges, and to get away from home are just some of the many reasons to go to summer camp. Steve Mohan, the camp promotion chairman, is encouraging you to go to summer camp. If you do not want to go or if you're not sure, just talk to Steve Mohan. He or one of his staff members will come and talk to you about how fun summer camp is and will show you a video of all the fun stuff you can do at camp. If you already want to go to summer camp, just make sure your Scoutmaster talks to Steve about coming. He could also talk to you about high adventure opportunities. We want all of you to hear one of Steve's staff members talk, because he is aiming to talk to every single troop in North Star!
